iM Sarawak Helps Make Kampung Serikin’s Water Woes A Thing Of The Past

BAU: The entire village of Kampung Serikin is once again able to enjoy uninterrupted water supply to their homes courtesy of iM Sarawak.
iM Sarawak recently helped the village of 140 houses to replace all 4 kilometres of its main water piping.
Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry Dato Anthony Nogeh Gumbek said, the new pipes are made from High-Density Poluethylene (HDPE) and are expected to last for at least 30 years.
Due to that, he urged the Village Security and Development Committee JKKK from Kampung Serikin to work together in taking care of the newly installed pipes.
He said this in his speech during the Launching of Water Supply System in Kampung Serikin, Bau.
He further said, his missions are to help Kampung Serikin to have the same facilities as those in the urban areas as well as to help villagers increase their economic activities and income.
